This past year, I was fortunate enough to draw an elk
tag in unit 61, and I hired Trails West Outfitters to
guide me on my hunt. I couldn't be more pleased. Bob
Sundeen runs a top notch outfit. He is very organized
and accommodating, and has an enthusiastic and
determined staff. I was pleased to be paired with Rod
Litzel on my elk hunt. Rod is a true professional, and
I can't say enough for his ability to make the hunt
enjoyable and successful. On the first day of the hunt,
my Dad and I got to see over 300 elk, and in the end, I
got to shoot an awesome bull. Coming from Nevada, I was
excited to see all of the wildlife. In additional to
all of the elk, we got to see a number of Rocky Mountain
Bighorn, a handful of moose, a couple of monster mule
deer, and whitetail. I have a number of family and
friends that I have already recommended Trails West
Outfitting to, and I look forward to the next
opportunity I have to go into the wilderness with Bob
and his staff.
